Koyama to lead stage version of "Lost Time Life"

Fuji TV's serial drama "Lost Time Life" will be taken to the stage next month as part of a tie-in project. Titled "Lost Time Life: Shinjitsu e no Countdown," the play will be based on the drama's second episode (airing this Saturday), in which NEWS member Keiichiro Koyama stars as a rookie detective working with an older cop (Ikko Furuya).

Koyama will play the same character for the stage version. Other cast members include Hiroo Ohtaka and Mai Takahashi.

The play will run from March 24 to April 13 at The Globe Tokyo.

NEWS' Koyama is announced to be in a Play in Conjunction with his Drama



NEWS' Koyama Keiichiro (23) was announced today in Tokyo as the star of the play, "Lost Time Life" (starting on the 23rd of March in the Tokyo Globe Theatre). With the same name as the Fuji Television Drama, the play was announced in conjuntion with the drama, a re-telling of the story starring Koyama (second ep airing on the 9th), where he plays a novice criminal(?). This being his first "straight" production, Koyama says, "Since there are a lot of lines to memorize and I usual like to sit in the bath and memorize lines, it looks like I'm going to be spending a lot of time in the bath," The co-star line up includes Furuya Ikkou's (65) son Furuya Kenji (29)(of Dragon Ash), as well as actress MEGUMI (29), who says of her character "Shes a good girl; Although I dont know if she can get married, she would be a good friend." (Not sure about that last part.)
