Sharing the March episode of Shounen Club Premium.

As with March last year, this episode marks the end of another year of NEWS hosting, and this year the take a trip to Shanghai, meeting fans and tasting plenty of local food, among other things.

As with previous months there are a selection of files in this post - two sizes of the full show as well as two formats for the performance clip. We’re also continuing to use the double cut post separating the screenshots from the download links for those who want minimum spoilers.

Sharing Koyama’s news every appearances for this week ― Oct 2 - 5.

news every returned this week and the ‘cool biz’ summer season is over, and men’s ties are firmly back in place.

Koyama did not have a Kininaru segment this week but Thursday had a follow up story where he once again met up with the hearing impaired kick boxer that he first met in 2012 and check on the progress of his career.

Koyama also updated in his most recent jweb update (Oct 5) that he had filming for every at a children’s medical centre.

Hi All

I've created a Facebook Private Group for NEWS fans as I wasn't able to find one initially.
It's called NEWS Yonin (NEWS 4p). (I've put up 3 questions in order to avoid spammers from joining.)
It's not a FB page as the new algorithm doesn't pop up on our feed unless we have lots of interactions with it.
With a FB Group , We can get a notification once someone has posted something.

The FB Group would be centered around 4 pax News and if there are any interesting articles about Japan.(e.g. 10 best spots for Hanami/offers/travel tips etc )
Negative controversial topics/gossips will not be posted and will be removed.

The aim is to reach out to more NEWS fans that are on FB more than LJ, seeing that HSJ, Arashi, SMAP etc other groups are so active there.

Will mainly be linking back to LJ posts from news_jpop/4newsfans + the other news member individual pages.

Members will be allowed to post their own links, will not only be posted by the mod/owner.

No hyperlinking of the downloads directly -- plus I believe it's against FB policy and gets the page shut down quicker.. which we all don't want.

Create meet ups/events

for LJ posts, please share the URL so that we can maintain the f-lock on the posts.

The idea sprung when I previously posted about a possible meet up in 2018, should there be anniversary con.
Obviously, nothing is confirmed and I do not want to get anybody hopes up, neither do I want to intentionally offend anyone.

Sending Birthday Wishes to Koyama

As we’re all aware, Koyama’s birthday is coming up on May 1. And as it’s only early April, we still have time to get cards and letters in the mail to reach him by that date.

It can be as simple as sending a postcard from your town or country with a birthday message in English if, like many of us, you can’t write in Japanese. And the advantage of a postcard is that you don’t have to say much past hello, thank you and Happy Birthday and can still show him that you support him and are thinking of him.

Johnnys has an official address for fan mail but they do only accept letters or cards/postcards. They do not accept gifts and packages may be returned or destroyed unopened.

Below is the latest postal address for the Johnnys Family Club, which is the official published address for fan mail. This is a new address announced at the end of last year.

This post is an additional suggestion of ways fans can send their support to Koyama as well as participating in the birthday project recently announced (see post below for details.)

Dear everyone,

Some of us have been brainstorming about how should we support Koyama because fans have started giving him hurtful messages on the uchiwas and sending messages to ‘news every’, too. It`s getting seriously cruel since the messages are mostly 'you should quit', 'you are disqualified as an idol' and 'die' (!!!!!!!). People are targeting him because of his relationship with a girl and as far as we know JE doesn`t do anything to protect him, since these 'fans' are taking these uchiwas into the concerts, and no one checks them.
We, as real fans, have to show that we are staning by him at any cost and protecting him from the harrasments!

One of our projects is his BD Project which is the one most far away, but it still needs time to make it done, so here are the details to those who are interested.Please, come, come, come! We need to do everything we can to fight back those ‘fans’ and show them we are stronger and even more than them!

The idea is making a video what we will post on Youtube and send the link to ‘K-chan news’ on his Birthday.

What you need to do is:

Make a photo OR video showing your support to Koyama.

You can make this message in English or Japanese if you can. If a video, just simply tell your feelings about Koyama and express your support in a short way.

The video shouldn`t exceed 20 seconds.

If it`s a photo, then you can make a drawing, you can write down your messages and take a photo of yourself with this message, etc. Anything what is supportive towards Koyama!

After getting the projects, we are going to make Japanese subtitle to the parts which are not in Japanese so he can understand your full messages. Please talk understandably and clearly. :) If you don`t want to take a video but still want to talk about your thoughts, record your message in a sound file [mp3] and send it to us. ^^

The deadline for the project is the 23rd of April until 0:00. [CET]

What is very important:

Name your country in the message! It is a must because we have to show him that there are fans throughout the whole world! :)

What we are asking in plus:

We haven`t decided which song we should choose for the video. Please, if you have any ideas, share it with us until the deadline of this project.
Our two ideas until now are: Tender by Blur [This is the theme song of Chikarauta.] and You`ll be in my heart by Phill Collins. We cannot make a Japanese song into the video because it might get deleted or muted.

Dear fans, who can sing or play any instruments (I have seen amazing piano covers on YT):
If you can, do a cover of Aikotoba and send it to us [if possible, before the deadline, but on the day of the deadline at latest.] If you do a cover, you can still send your project regardless, we will use the cover during the video. If we receive more cover, we will choose the best one for the video.

I think that would be everything regarding the project, but if you have any question, feel free to ask! :)

Also, please spread this project in your own languages and in any languages you can speak so we can increase the number of participating fans.

Hi guys~ Here I am with the Romaji and the English translation of Koyama Keiichiro's Nyanta.
He wrote this song for his beloved cat Nyanta, who passed away.
This song is really beautiful and had me in tears. As a cat owner and lover myself, I understand his feeling clearly. I am sure Nyanta is in a better place right now. He must be a very blessed cat.

Koyama confirmed in his jweb tonight that his album/tour solo is for Nyanta who passed away just before Christmas after 19 happy years.

He wrote, in part:

'In the 19 years that Nyanta and I spent together he was always right by my side.'

'And the fans were always good to him too. Thank you so much.'

'I think Nyanta was truly happy.'

'For me, Nyanta was an important part of my life, in some ways part of my family. So I decided to put those feelings into a song. If any of you have someone you care for like they were your family, go be with them, okay? They're definitely waiting for you.'

Tiime to pause and celebrate the wonderful and special man that is Koyama Keiichiro and the joy he brings to our lives.

It's already been a very busy year for NEWS on top of the fact that he has never been in demand as much as he is now. So we wish him continued success and a happy, healthy year surrounded by family, friends, fans, members, staff and co-workers as he juggles his formidable workload.

And as we look forward to what the next year will bring, here is a look back at Koyama at 31, with a collection of 31 magazine images from the past year.

TBS has announced today, March 16, that KoyaShige’s late night variety show, NEWS na Futari, will become a regular show from Friday April 22. It will screen from 12:50 - 1:20 am.

The website for Koyama's upcoming play, Great Nature was officially launched today.

It has been announced today that Koyama will be starring in a stage play later this year.

Titled Great Nature 「グレート・ネイチャー」the play will open at Tokyo’s Globe Theatre on Saturday September 12 and run till Tuesday September 29. And then a short season in Osaka from Friday October 9 to Sunday October 11 at Theater Drama City.

Koyama reported in memai tonight that he has wanted to do an acting job but will still be doing news every at the same time. For the weekday performances he will be heading to the theatre directly from NTV and they will start at a later time of 19:30. However due to the fact he does a longer show on Wednesday, there will be no play performances on that day of the week.

He acknowledged that rehearsing and performing a play while still doing his live broadcasts of every is a challenge. However he also believes that he has been given a big chance with this play and we can only wait for more details to be released about the play itself.

Congratulations to him for adding another challenge to his already very busy schedule.

It has been reported this morning that Koyama and Shige will have a new Friday night variety show, starting July 3 at 24:20 on TBS. Update: this is not a regular show as yet, but there are hopes that it will become one.

Titled 「激撮！インテリジェンスワイドショー『NEWSな2人』」/ Gekito! Interi Jensu waido sho NEWS na futari / Must See! The Super Intelligent Talk Show with the 2 from NEWS

And there seems to quite a focus on the fact that they are a newscaster and a writer who are both university graduates. In fact this article, refers to them as “インテリジャニーズ”コンビ [Intelligent Johnnys Combi].

In the first episode, Koyama spends the day in Akihabara, camera in hand visiting maid cafes, while Shige visits the Tokyo DARC [Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Center].

Another year has rolled around to the very special day when we celebrate Koyama Keiichiro!

And in a very timely moment, Myojo has printed another 10,000 character interview in which Koyama reveals some of his most upfront comments about the events of 2011-2012 and what NEWS means in his life.

As part of the celebration for the 1000th entry of memai, jweb has announced a Q&A segment with Koyama!
