A recap of『news every』from last week - January 19.
This week we have screencaps and a summary of Koyama's Kininaru and the other segment he is involved in thanks to the efforts and kindness of
Intro
Koyama is asked about his New Year's holiday and he mentions he stayed with his grandparents (also mentioned in his Jweb :D)
Report on the dry winter weather and how both men & women are trying to do things to keep their skin healthy even in the cold
They ask Koyama what he's been doing and he comments that he puts on a nightcare mask for his skin when he goes to bed. He thinks it helps keep his skin from drying out overnight.
Report on Tokyo Disney World's new 3-D Music show "PhilharMagic"
The show is 3-D + they use water, wind and smells to make the video scenes more realistic. Donald Duck is the main character so they're selling tons of new Donald goods.
Koyama laughed and smiled a lot while watching this video report! At the end he told the reporter girl she was really hyper there. He then commented that he had gone to the 3-D Michael Jackson show and though that was amazing, so was impressed that now they were adding smells, waters and more to their 3-D shows.
Ueno Zoo Report
Koyama is asked what animal he thinks of when he thinks of Ueno Zoo and he says... Panda! However there haven't actually been pandas at Ueno for awhile since their last one passed away. However they will soon get some again and there's a report on the prep for that. The zoo is currently accepting applications from visitors for Japanese names for the two panda's they'll be getting from China soon.
New & Interesting Vending Machine Report
Four pictures are shown: an apple, taiyaki, gold coin and make up. Koyama is then asked to guess what they have in common. He can't figure it out and then is informed they are all things you can find in vending machines!
After the video Koyama comments that a vending machine he thinks is interesting is the ones they have in public baths that sell underwear.
Ki ni naru!
Koyama reports on items popular with girls and housewives lately.
1. Silicon saran wrap
They sell round pieces of silicon in all different colors that can be used instead of normal saran wrap. Unlike saran wrap you can use the silicon wrap again and again, just wash it when you're done! You can also put it in the microwave or buy all different colors.
2. Dispenser tip for shampoo. In Japan they sell shampoo in bottles, but also in plastic refill packs (a refill pack is cheaper and is used to refill a bottle you already have). However this dispenser tip connects directly to where you open a whole in the refill pack so you don't have to worry about transferring it to a bottle or even owning a bottle. These plastic dispenser tips are made in a small factory in Tokyo, which Koyama visits. The tips are made by hand there!
3. High heel decorations! It's like earrings for your high heels, little gems or dangling decorations added to the back. First you have to drill a hole though :) Koyama makes one himself, black with clear jewels. Once you have a hole, you can change the decorations around as much as you want too.
Koyama visits the small factory where one old man has been developing this idea and learns that he hopes to spread it/make it more main stream. But he's never actually asked any young people what they think of it before. So "news every" heads to Shibuya with the guy to see what young girls think. At first they seem a little confused and unsure, but after explaining it to them... all 20 girls they asked agreed it was cute and they'd like to try it!
